Japanese automobile giant Toyota, headquartered in Toyota city, Japan has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit and is all set to provide $78.5 million in cash and credits as a settlement amount. The multinational manufacturer was alleged that certain Toyota vehicles were fitted with defective airbags. On November 28, 2023, the United States District Court for the Central District of California has issued its final order and final judgement while approving the $78.5 Million Toyota Airbag Control Unit Class Action.
